Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 2024 | Last Updated: September 2026

At Haloshine Technologies (OPC) Private Limited ("Haloshine," "we," "our," or "us"), we design and build 2D games, mobile apps, websites, AI features and cloud systems from Navsari, Gujarat, India. This Privacy Policy explains, for our company as a whole, what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

It covers:

  • Visitors to haloshinetech.com
  • People who play or use games and apps we publish under our own name
  • Clients and business contacts who work with us on a project

Each game or app we publish also has its own privacy notice on its store listing, describing exactly what that product collects. Where a product's notice is more specific than this policy, the product's notice applies to that product.

SocialBridge, our desktop tool for publishing videos to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, has its own SocialBridge Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Send Through Our Website

When you contact us through the enquiry form on haloshinetech.com, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, the type of project you are planning, and your message.

We use these details only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss a possible project with you. We do not sell them or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a form-processing service that passes your message to us by email. Our website itself does not set cookies or use tracking or analytics tools.

Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs — including IP addresses and the pages requested — for a short time, to keep the site secure and working.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time by emailing info@haloshinetech.com.

1.2 Information You Give Us in Our Games and Apps

  • Account Information: Where a product offers accounts — name or nickname, email address, password, and profile details. In products for children, an account is set up by a parent, not by the child
  • Purchases: Records of in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payment card details are handled by the app store or payment provider, never by us
  • Support Messages: Anything you send us when you report a problem or ask a question

1.3 Information Collected Automatically in Our Games and Apps

  • Device Information: Device type and model, operating system version, language, and device identifiers
  • Anonymous Identifiers: Some products create a random identifier the first time they open, so progress and settings can be saved without an account. It is not linked to your name unless you sign in
  • Usage Data: Progress, scores, features used, and how long a session lasted
  • Diagnostics: Crash reports and performance data, so we can fix faults
  • Network Information: IP address and connection type, used for security and for online features

Some of our products use third-party services for crash reporting, analytics, cloud storage, sign-in or advertising. Where a product uses them, they are named in that product's store listing and in-app privacy notice, together with the choices available to you.

1.4 Information from Clients and Business Contacts

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, company name and role
  • Project information you share with us so we can quote for or carry out the work
  • Billing details needed to raise invoices and meet our tax obligations

If a client gives us access to data belonging to their own users during a project, we process it only on that client's instructions and only for that project.

1.5 Permissions We Request

Our apps ask for a device permission only where a feature needs it — for example storage to save progress, or network access for online play. You can refuse or withdraw a permission in your device settings; features that depend on it will then stop working.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate and maintain our website, games and apps
  • To reply to enquiries and provide customer support
  • To carry out projects for clients and manage our business relationship
  • To process purchases and keep records of them
  • To fix faults, improve quality, and develop new features
  • To keep our products safe: preventing cheating, fraud and abuse
  • To send service messages, such as important changes to a product you use
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client project material to train AI models.

3. Our Legal Grounds

Where data-protection law requires us to name a legal ground, we rely on:

  • Performance of a contract: providing a product or service you have asked for
  • Legitimate interests: running, securing and improving our business, where your rights do not override this
  • Consent: where we ask for it, such as for optional features; you may withdraw it at any time
  • Legal obligation: keeping records the law requires us to keep

4. How We Share Information

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers: companies that host our website, deliver our contact form, distribute our apps, process payments, or provide crash reporting and cloud storage — acting on our instructions
  • App stores: Google Play, the Apple App Store and similar platforms, which handle distribution, purchases and their own account systems
  • Professional advisers: accountants and lawyers, where needed
  • Legal reasons: where we must comply with the law, a court order or a lawful request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ourselves
  • Business transfer: if our business is sold or reorganised, information may pass to the new owner under the same protections
  • With your consent: in any other case, we ask first

5. Children's Privacy

Some of our games are made for children, including early-learning games. For those products we follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR rules on children's data, and the Google Play Families Policy:

  • We collect the minimum needed to make the game work
  • Children can play without signing in. Where a product offers an account, a parent creates it behind a parent gate
  • We do not use personalised or behavioural advertising, and we do not track or profile children, in products directed at children. Any advertising SDK we use in such a product is one certified under the Google Play Families programme
  • We do not knowingly let children share personal information publicly
  • We name every third-party service that receives data from a children's product in that product's store listing and in-app privacy notice

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, anyone under 18 is a child. Where that Act applies, we obtain verifiable parental consent before processing a child's personal data, and we do not track, monitor behaviour, or show targeted advertising to children even with consent.

Parents and guardians may ask us to show them what information we hold about their child, to delete it, or to stop us collecting any more. Email info@haloshinetech.com from the address used for the account, or tell us the product name and device, and we will confirm your request with you before acting on it. We will never make you create an account to exercise this right.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a way this policy does not allow, we delete it promptly.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

Our games and apps do not use website cookies. Where a product uses a device identifier — for example to count installs or to show non-personalised ads — it is described in that product's store listing, and you can reset or limit the identifier in your device settings.

7. How Long We Keep Information

  • Website Enquiries: Only as long as needed to reply and keep a record of our correspondence; deleted on request
  • Client Records: For the length of the project, and afterwards for as long as tax and contract law requires
  • Game and App Accounts: While the account is active; deleted, or made anonymous, after you ask us to close it
  • Diagnostics: A short period, long enough to investigate faults

8. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can ask us to delete your data at any time:

  • In a game or app: where the product offers an account, use the delete-account option in its settings. In products for children, this sits behind the parent gate
  • By email: write to info@haloshinetech.com with the product name and the account email address. See our data deletion page for the full steps

When you delete an account we remove the profile, progress and any content attached to it. We keep purchase and invoice records where tax and accounting law requires it, and short-term security logs, after which they are deleted. Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Limit or object to how we use it
  • Provide it in a portable form
  • Withdraw consent you gave earlier

Email info@haloshinetech.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. Using these rights is free, and we will not treat you differently for it.

10. How We Protect Information

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit who on our team can reach personal information, and keep only what we need. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

11. Where Information Is Processed

We operate from India. Some of our service providers and app stores process information on servers in other countries. Where information leaves your country, we rely on those providers' contractual safeguards to keep it protected to the standard described in this policy.

12. Other Companies' Services

Our website, games and apps may link to services we do not control, such as app stores and social platforms. Their own privacy notices govern what they collect, and we are not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our products change or the law changes. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we will give notice on this website or inside the product concerned.
